Cottaging started for Marnie in the Briars area on Lake Simcoe before her parents moved to Muskoka on Mary Lake when she was 13. Initially, schooling began at Seneca for Laboratory Technology in Electron Microscopy and then while working as a Laboratory Manager for a company focusing on R&D in steam explosion and biomass conversion, she completed a degree by part-time evening studies at York University and the University of Waterloo followed later by part-time studies at Humber in Interior Decorating. Fortunate to be able to spend a number of years as a “stay at home mom” while Bob travelled extensively for business, Marnie eventually joined Scientists in School as a visiting scientist teaching KG, Gr 2-6 programs throughout the GTA. With Darby off to University and Kelcie working full time in Toronto, Bob and Marnie moved permanently to Muskoka, following their dream. MEGAN WHITE
Sales Representative / Port Severn
I was born and raised in Honey Harbour, where growing up on Georgian Bay and spending countless hours boating helped shape a deep connection to the water and my community. With deep local roots and a genuine love for the area, I understand that real estate here is about more than property–it’s about place. Buying or selling is more than a transaction, it’s about finding the right place to start a new chapter and leave what no longer fits. Helping clients buy and sell cottages, homes and island properties throughout Muskoka and Simcoe County is more than my profession-it’s personal. I lead every relationship with honesty, care, and a hands-on approach because Georgian Bay isn’t just where I work-its home.
